The Extraordinary Dining Experience with The Italian Michelin Star Chef Massimiliano Celeste

Phuket – 9 January 2019: JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa will be lifting up the layer of your gastronomic opportunity with the Michelin-star dining experience. The Italian Michelin Star Chef Massimiliano Celeste and his sous chef Roberto Ognibene generously takes their time-out from the-one-Michelin-starred Il Portale restaurant, Verbania, Italy to cook for diners at the resorts. Chef Celeste will make an appearance exclusively for two-day, Marriott guest chef’s pop up events from 28 – 29 January 2019 at Cucina Italian Kitchen, JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa and continue to delight the diners at D.O.C.G Restaurant, Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach, during 1 – 2 February.

This is a once in a lifetime experience that diners should not miss. Chef Celeste proudly presents a delectable 5-course set menu inspired by seasonal cooking that reflects his philosophy with a passion for precision and beauty. His signature dishes are very distinctive as he takes influences from different parts of Italy and the world to come up with creations that surprise the palate. The programs for the extraordinary cooking and dining experience are as follow:

January 28th – 29th, from 6.30 onwards: A lavish 5-course gala dinner at Cucina Italian Kitchen. The divine menu includes Caramelized red onion Macaroon served with smoked fish; Chef Celeste’s signature Vitello Tonnato; Chef Celeste interpretation of Carnoroli rice, octopus and garden vegetables; Guinea fowl stuffed with mantis prawns, green peas, green apple & pomegranate and complete your meal with his rich dessert, Moscato flavored sabayon served with cedar gelato, exotic fruits and Asian sprouts. Price is THB 2,990++ per person food only and THB 5,790++with selected beverages pairing.

January 29th, from 11.00 am to 2.00 pm: Chef Celeste will hold a live cooking demonstration at Ginja Cook followed by a 3-course signature Italian set menu. The highlight dishes include Vitello Tonnato; Traditional Plin Ravioli and Mascarpone Parfait with Mango and Meringue. It is a great opportunity to learn Chef Celeste secret recipes and to have an intimate dining experience that sets this Italian meal to a starred level. The intimate cooking class and limited to just 10 seats. Price is THB 2,600++ per person food only.
