Phuket, 19 January 2017 – The Amari Phuket management team, led by Pierre-Andre Pelletier – Vice President and Area General Manager, South Thailand (middle), Tipaporn Koonphol – Deputy General Manager (left), and Richard Margo – Hotel Manager (right), recently organised a Buddhist ceremony to celebrate the hotel’s 32nd anniversary.
Every team member in each department took part on this special day and were congratulated on the success of the hotel after three decades of operation. The hotel will continue delivering its service as one of the best hotels on Phuket Island.
Reference is made to the last announcement made on 28 September 2016 that Laguna Phuket had to cancel the “2016 Laguna Phuket presents Big Body+ Charity Concert” with a projection to host the event in 2017, potentially in March, we regret to inform that Laguna Phuket will no longer be hosting “Laguna Phuket presents Big Body+ Charity Concert” in 2017.
Laguna Phuket will still make donation to Phuket Punyanukul School for students’ canteen restoration and improvement as planned.
We do apologize many fans and ticket buyers who have been waiting for the concert’s new date. For those who wishes to get ticket refund, please do so by:

Phuket, 10 October 2016 – Amari Phuket’s representative, Pierre-Andre Pelletier – Vice President and Area General Manager, South Thailand (left), recently visited the Kathu Shrine, Phuket’s most ancient shrine, to make a donation of foodstuffs, including water, jasmine rice, vegetable oil and sugar, to Poonsak Tantavech – Kathu Shrine Committee (right). These items will be used for cooking meals for the people participating in the 2016 Vegetarian Festival.
The Phuket Vegetarian Festival is an annual event and held during the ninth lunar month of the Chinese calendar. October 1, 2016 Khun Chadaporn Makchumnum, Assistant Marketing Manager a representative from The Racha donated 1,000 bottles of drinking water to local Chinese Shrines in Phuket to inherit and support the Vegetarian Festival.
Please be informed that Laguna Phuket has received a new schedule from the artists who would perform the Big Body+ Concert. The new date is potentially set for Sunday 26 March 2017. We regret to inform you that we cannot find a date in 2016 that suits all 3 selected artists.
