Angsana Laguna Phuket to hold ‘Candle Light Dinner’ to commemorate Earth Hour

Earth Hour: Lights Off and let’s bon fire on!

Earth Hour is a worldwide movement for the planet organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF). The event is held worldwide annually encouraging individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights for one hour, from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. It was famously started as a lights-off event in Sydney, Australia, in 2007. Since then, it has grown to engage more than 7000 cities and towns worldwide. Today, Earth Hour engages a massive mainstream community on a broad range of environmental issues. The one-hour event continues to remain the key driver of the now larger movements.

To raise awareness about climate change and to symbolise our commitment to protecting our planet, we will be joining in the worldwide movement on Saturday, March 25th by turning off non-essential lights in the building and light candles throughout the resort.

Join us the special Movie Night with barbeque on our Coliseum Lawn from 19:00 until 22:00 for 1,475THB++ per person and 450THB++ per child (from ages 7 to 14), diners can have free-flow beverages for the duration of our barbeque and choose from our Ocean, Land or Mix barbeque sets.

We hope you will join us change climate change by switching off your lights and supporting one of the many projects from around the world.
