Phuket helps needy children

On March 4th, 2010, at the conference room of Phuket Social Development and Human Security Office (PSDHS), Teerayuth Aiumtrakul, a Vice Governor of Phuket, presided over the meeting of the Committee of  ‘Children Protection Fund Phuket’ including Pannee Sitthikarn, Head of PSDHS, and representatives from related government offices.

The main agenda of the meeting was to consider ways to support 10 very needy children and their families or their patrons, selected by the committee. The committee will support those families for their living costs of about 1,000 – 2,000 baht per month from March to September 2010. In addition the committee will also support them in career development and medical welfare.
