Mr.Sompong Ornprasert, the Head of Office of Commercial Phuket said “The low productivity of eggs has caused price increases. In Phuket, we survey the egg prices in the market as well as meat products.
The meat product prices have increased slightly. Pork is 120 -140 baht per kilogram. However, we are more concerned about the egg price. An egg number 0 used to be sold at 3 baht, but now it is sold at 4.20 baht. We will keep surveying the price and find out the best solution for this problem.”
