The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) launched the Happy Paradise Campaign to present tourism products and services, bringing impressions and new experiences to tourists in the Phuket Sandbox programme through the Happy Paradise Campaign in order to help support the communities and local culture.
The Happy Paradise Campaign presents tourism products and services while attaching importance to establishments certified by the safety and health standard under the SHA Plus symbol through a wide range of Happy Paradise activities. On the past 18,20 and 21 August 2021, the campaign had presented the “Manorah Dance” and the “Ron Rae Dance” show which is a famous signature local southern show. The show was held at the Novotel Phuket Kamala Beach Hotel, Impiana Resort Patong Hotel, Katathani Phuket Beach Resort and The Shore at Katathani Resort for tourists to witness the special magnificent show by the campaign.
The campaign will hold two types of shows: Manorah Dance and Ron Rae Dance; both of which are famous local southern shows full of charm and joy in a local southern style. There will be 6 shows in total by the campaign from 18 – 23 August 2021 at various destinations. The shows strictly comply with the COVID-19 prevention guidelines by the Ministry of Public Health (DMHTT Measures) for the tourists’ and performers’ safety.
