Phuket-Local-FoodKanom Huad-Koy or Kanom Tuay-Fu  – “Huad” in Chinese means “growth” and “Koy” means “full or dessert”. So Kanom Huad-Koy is believed to be a dessert of prosperity.

Kanom Tuay-Fu is the Thai version of muffins; they are made with rice flour, scented very gently with rose or other flower water and steamed rather than baked. The dough mixture is runny and needs is held in a cup during cooking. The mixture forms light moist muffins.
