6 November 2009 – AirAsia today officially announced its new route to Phuket from Ho Chi Minh City at a press conference held at Miss Ao dai Building, in Ho Chi Minh City. The official announcement of the new destination is in addition to its existing routes to Ho Chi Minh City from Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta.
