A chance for Thais to be representatives of country with TAT’s campaign

The Tourism Authority of Thailand is calling on Thai people to participate in The Ultimate Thailand Explorers event as liaison volunteers.

The liaison volunteers, representatives of Thailand in the event, are required to travel with the contestants to their selected destinations (among Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, and Koh Samui), assisting them with relevant information and coordinating the efforts of the event team and the TAT.

How to apply:

  • Visit www.callforvolunteer.com
  • Fill in the application and questionnaire form
  • Attach a picture of yourself
  • Attach a copy of your I.D. card


  • 15 September – 30 October 2009: Application submission period
  • 2 November 2009: Candidate announcement
  • 9 November 2009; Interviews conducted
  • 13 November 2009: Announcement for the selected 5 liaison volunteers
  • 6-7 December 2009: Briefing Day
  • 8-17 December 2009: Working assignment period


  • 20-30 years old
  • Thai Nationals
  • Able to communicate in English and Thai fluently
  • Computer literate and internet savvy
  • Personable, service minded, good communicators, active, friendly, courteous, and approachable
  • Highly responsible in fulfilling their given duties, punctual, and able to solve problems quickly.
  • Insight into hospitality and protocol will be an advantage

What can expect:

  • Work experience while travelling around one of the five destinations
  • A daily allowance of 1,000 baht/day throughout the event from 8 to 17 December
  • Complimentary food, accommodation and transportation in addition to their daily stipend
  • A certificate from TAT as volunteers for The Ultimate Thailand Explorers event
