Director of The Americas Market Division, Mr. Santi Chudintra, a delegate for Tourism Authorities of Thailand (TAT) introduced a new campaign “72 hours in Thailand” to Chinese press and PATA members in the PATA Travel Mart 2009 held during 23-25 September,2009, in Hangzhou Province of China.

The project “72 hours in Thailand” introduces many tourist destinations in Thailand such as 72 hours in Hua Hin, Pattaya, Bangkok, and Phuket. Especially for Chinese travellers who have a close relationship with Thais.

To boost up the tourist sector, TAT has arranged a special promotion for foreign travellers who stay in Thailand longer than 5 days. For Chinese market in particular, TAT also has a plan to open another office in Kunming in addition to the two existing offices in Beijing and Shanghai.
