Student from Dowroong Wittaya School won Political Parties and Elections Contest 2009

15 September 2009 – In order to disseminate knowledge and encourage learning about Thailand’s politics and elections, Phuket Election Commission called for 22 high school students from 11 schools in Phuket to join a contest about political parties and elections.

The contest is broken into two rounds of competition. A preliminary round was held at Chalerm Prakiat Somdet Prasrinakarin Phuket School and a final round at MCOT Radio Station Phuket. The winner is the representatives from Dowroong Wittaya School, the 1st runner up is from Phuket wittayalai School and the 2nd runner up is from Phuket Thaihua School. Students are awarded an honourary shield and 4000 baht, 2000 baht, 1000 baht cash respectively.
