On 27th May 2013, Kusoladharm Foundation Phuket held an event which saw them give scholarship to some of the island’s poor students. The event was presided over by Phuket Deputy Governor – Chaiwat Thepee and he was joined by President of Kusoldharma Phuket – Benjawan Tampanuwat and President of Phuket Great Mother Institute – Rojjana Raktaengam.
The scholarships, worth 2,000 baht each, were awarded to a total of 178 Students from 16 of Phuket’s schools namely Baan Ao Por school, Piboonsawadee School Phuket, Koh Sirey School, Baan Kuku School, Laem Panwa School, Baan Bang Krung School, Kok Wat Mai School, Baan Bang Rong School, Puthamongkol Nimit School, Rajapracha 36 School, Wat Thepnimit School, Koh Maprao School, Baan Ao Nam Bo School, Baan Bang Koo School, Baan Manik School, Baan Sakoo School.
President of Kusoldharma – Khun Benjawan said “This is regarded as one of the foundation’s main activities, organized to assist and benefit the public. Those who receive a scholarship will now be able to concentrate on learning to grow into adults and will help in the development of the country after their studies are complete. They will be able to use what they learn not only in their everyday lives but also in their chosen careers. If we are able to study and gain knowledge, this will allow us to have a better life and to help the family and also society”.
