Wie & Kim brought Solheim Cup to the U.S.

Michelle Wie and Christina Kim, the U.S. retained the Solheim Cup with a 16-12 victory over Europe.

Europe have never won the biennial competition on the U.S. soil and Kim made sure that she run continued when she went 1-up against the Spanish Tania Elosegui with one to play.

Then Morgan Pressel can “Stop! & Get Down!” her ball into the hole. She wins over the Swedish Anna Nordqvist and took the Americans over the winning line to 14 1/2 points.

While Michelle Wie made a great moment over the Swedish Helen Alfredsson for the highlight.

English Laura Davies was three up through 15 holes against Brittany Leng, but closed with successive bogeys to only win a half point.

French golfer Gwladys Nocera was on top in her match with Juli Inkster, but birdies on the 14th and 15th by the American veteran also meant only a half for the visitors.

And lastly the U.S. have won the last three editions of the Solheim Cup.
