The 3 points sees Phuket take back 3rd place in the league table equal on points (17) with 4th place Bangkok United, but with Phuket having a 1 goal better goal difference. However, Phuket face a real test on Sunday, 4th May 2014, when they visit 2nd placed Nakhon Ratchasima in a game where points will mean everything for both teams, Nakhon Ratchasima are currently just above Phuket on 19 points. Unfortunately, Phuket haven’t got the best away record this season taking only 4 points out of a possible 15 so far, so hopefully after turning a run of 2 loses to a win at the weekend they can also start to turn around their away record which they need to do in order to stay in contention for promotion to the Thai Premier League.
