Blue Canyon Country Club, the home of championship golf in Asia for more than 30 years, has announced a significant investment in the renovation of its Canyon Course. The Canyon Course is one of the most renowned golf courses in Asia and has been the host of several prestigious golf tournaments, including the Johnnie Walker Classic and the Honda Invitational.
The club’s recent accolade of Thailand’s Best Golf Course 2022 by World Golf Awards is a testament to its commitment to providing a world-class golfing experience for members and guests. The investment in the Canyon Course further solidifies this commitment and is expected to enhance the golfing experience for all visitors.
To ensure the success of the renovation project, Blue Canyon Country Club has partnered with Sports Turf Solutions Co., Ltd, a leading supplier of turf grasses, machinery, irrigation systems, and golf vehicles. Sports Turf Solutions has a proven track record of delivering top-quality turf grasses to several renowned golf courses in recent years, including StoneHill Golf Club, Hoiana Shores Golf Club, and Singapore Island Golf Club.
The renovation will involve the replacement of the tees and surrounds with Stadium Zoysia, a new variety of Zoysia grass that is known for its durability and low maintenance requirements. The fairways will be replaced with Zeon Zoysia, a grass variety that is renowned for its excellent texture and color. The greens will be rebuilt with Tif Eagle Bermuda, which is known for its superior quality and consistency. The new grass varieties will not only enhance the visual appeal of the course but will also provide a better playing surface for golfers.

The renovation project is set to commence from March 20, 2023, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2023, depending on the weather and other circumstances. The renovations progress will be updated regularly through their website and social medias.
