On 24th November 2013, Phuket Governor – Mr.Maitri Intusut presided over the opening of the island’s latest OTOP fair entitled ‘OTOP Exhilaration Shopping Thailand 4 Region’ being held at Saphan Hin from 24th -30th November 2013. Also present at the opening were Advisor to PPAO CEO – Mr. Boonserm Suwannaratapum, Deputy Director of Community Development Department- Mr. Pisan Prratarnchava, President of the Phuket Red Cross – Miss Pawinee Inntusut and a number of Phuket celebrities.

The latest OTOP fair has been organized by Department of Human development and is an opportunity for local producers to promote their goods and also to make contact with their international market target. The event features over 300 booths of goods from all four regions of the country and it is hoped that locals and tourists will be motivated to the fair, and in addition to Phuket and the entire Andaman region.
