Sansiri PLC, in cooperation with Siam Commercial Bank, have for the fourth year joined hands to support Phuket’s famous Vegetarian Festival.
A press conference announcing the ongoing support was lead by guest of honour Mr. Jamroen Tippayapongtada, Phuket Governor, who was joined by Mr. Apichart Chutrakul, CEO of Sansiri Public Company Limited and Pikun Srimahunt, Head of Mortgage and SSME Products at Siam Commercial Bank PCL, together with Jui Tui Taa Bo Keng Shrine, Bangniew Shrine, Samkong Shrine and Ta-Ruea Shine who shared the highlights of the 2015 Phuket Vegetarian Festival which will take place 13-21 October and is one of the Island’s biggest festivals.
Sansiri and Siam Commercial Bank have jointly donated money to five shrines in Phuket during the Vegetarian Festival – Jui Tui Taa Bo Keng Shrine, Kathu Shrine, Bangniew Shrine, Samkong Shrine and Ta-Ruea Shrine – as well as giving away white t-shirts, bottles of water, fans, aprons, chef hats and special “J-Kits”. The J-Kits are also being distributed nationwide to customers and staff to promote the Festival and encourage people to join-in and clean the shrines in preparation for the event.
