On January 9th 2014, PPAO Chief Executive – Paiboon Upattising, led his deputy Soratham Jinda and Advisor Jeerasak Torthip, to welcome Parinya Prayadsap, president of Phuket Islamic Ethical Promotion Center and his team who came in to wish the CEO the best of 2014, and to discuss preparations for the annual Islamic Ethical Training Course for 2014.
The project, which receives a grant of 600,000 Baht from PPAO, is set to take place between April 5th & June 22nd 2014 at Phuket Merlin Hotel in Phuket City, and will be officially opened on April 5. Chula Ratchamontri (Senior Muslim Cleric) Asis Pitakkumpol has graciously agreed to be the president of the project. The training programs target groups are local and young Muslims. The course, taught by experienced teachers and speakers, will deal with the Islamic religion in general, Islamic lives and the role it plays in society. Now in its 19th year, the course is backed by the Phuket Islamic Ethical Promotion Center, the main organizers, whose intention is to make the Center as efficient and beneficial to the community as possible.
Mr. Paiboon said of the project: “I thank Mr. Parinya Prayadsap, the president of the Center, who proposed his ideas for the benefit of the Phuket people. I ask Allah for blessings so that we can undertake this project successfully. This training course, which is a great collaboration between our offices, should be the guiding light for our youth who can use religion to lead their life. This is a long-running project which this year will add youth leadership training.”
