Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket, together with Independent Wine & Spirit (Thailand) Co.Ltd. proudly present The Night of DOMAINE E.GUIGAL Wine Dinner on Wednesday, November 26th at its award-winning Italian restaurant, La Trattoria.
The three-course menu created by Executive Chef Silvano Amolini alongside Chef de Cuisine Lorenzo Stelzer will be paired with the impeccable DOMAINE E.GUIGAL wines from Rhône Valley, France.
The guest speaker Cheewee Lee, brand representative, will share the vineyard’s history with guests throughout the night.
The special wine dinner menu will feature the following dishes paired with wines:
Welcome canapé: Small puff pastry with vegetables comfit and a small fillet of Red mullet, Fresh oysters with pernod gelatin and caramelized lemon and small tuna tartare with a light grain mustard mayonnaise and brioche bread with fresh herbs paired with Côtes du Rhône Blanc 2012 & Côtes du Rhône rouge 2010, E.Guigal.
First course: Poached Canadian lobster with avocado mousse, fresh tomato tartare and basil oil paired with Saint Joseph Blanc 2012, E.Guigal.
Second course: Duck breast cannelloni cooked sous vide cannelloni with reblochon cheese fondue and green peas espuma, paired with Gigondas Rouge 2010, E.Guigal.
Third course: Australian beef fillet Rossini with Gousse duck foie gras, erinji mushrooms and black truffle sauce, paired with Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2007, E.Guigal.
Fourth course: Fresh strawberry with caramelized sesame, mascarpone cream enhanced with lemon and balsamic vinegar 10 years, served with Fine tea, Arabica coffee & petits fours.
