Desert oasis created for Phuket charity eventLocal charity Phuket Has Been Good To Us is gearing up for their biggest fundraising event of the year, to be held 26th April 2013 at Bliss Beach Club.

Phuket locals, expats and visitors are invited to indulge in an exotic night out at Mystic Mirage. It will be an Arabian Nights themed event, in support of a deserving charity, which provides English language education and after school activities at two local government schools.

Guests will enjoy an evening of Middle Eastern delights à la Lawrence of Arabia, complete with belly dancers and entertainers, themed food served market place style and free flow wine thanks to BB&B, all while lounging in silk-sided Bedouin tents and topped off with dancing under the stars.

The amazing chefs from Outrigger, Breeze at Cape Yamu, and Lady Pie, will prepare additional Middle Eastern themed culinary delights for the event, to augment equally talented Bliss Chef Alex’s menu. The evening will begin with ‘a fizz’ with sparkling wine also sponsored by Outrigger.

General Manager of Bliss Beach Club, Giuseppe “Pepe” Viva is excited about being involved.  ‘We are always happy to support the work of Phuket Has Been Good To Us.  Donating a venue and food is the least we can do to help improve the education and lives of the children they work with.’

Tickets are selling quickly, and are available for a donation of 2,500 baht.  Bookings can be made by contacting Phuket Has Been Good To Us on 076 278 146 or email
