RE KÁ TA Club on the Beach is hosting three world class performers for a sensational evening of classical music & Chocolate decadence for one night only on Friday 4th May, 2012!

Jonathon Glonek is passionate about bringing quality classical music to the public and a lecturer in Violin Studies at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok. Jonathon has performed Brahms, Tchaikowsky, Mendelssohn and Bach Concertos in Thailand and abroad.

Eri Nakagawa was trained in Japan and the US and has already released two CDs. She has been an instructor at the College of Music, Mahidol University since 1995.

The pair will start the evening with a rarely performed intense and thrilling program dedicated to three great works by the masters of this genre.

Following this stunning musical performance, our third performer takes to the stage to create a truly unique Chocolate Dinner!

Spanish pastry chef David Inglada showcases his artistic chocolate creations by matching each course of Chef Bryan Burger’s a specially designed menu for RE KÁ TA, with a different chocolate texture. Chef David will display how chocolate is far more than just the sweet snack we all love and transform it into a sensational dining experience.

Refreshments will be served at 6.30pm with the musical performance commencing at 7pm sharp in the air-conditioned room at RE KÁ TA. An intermission of 15 minutes will take place at 7.45 along with a short cocktail. Dinner under the stars will follow the performance at 8.30pm.

RE KÁ TA Seafood Beachfront Restaurant was also recognized with the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence and most recently awarded one of Thailand Tatler’s Best Restaurants 2012.

RE KÁ TA Club on the Beach opened late December, is offering a new beachfront destination for Phuket visitors to eat, drink, swim spa, shop and chill out to great tunes from morning to midnight (and beyond).

RE KÁ TA beach club was designed by Fredo Taffin, the renowned Bali based architect and landscape designer, who created the concept as part of Boathouse Phuket’s renovation, a project which cost USD 6 million in transformation.

The whole evening is priced at Baht 2,200++ per person and includes the concert and 5 course dinner menu.

(++ stands for 10% service charge and 7% government tax)
