Following being recognized as a model administrative office by the National Anti-Corruption Commission, a team of Phuket Provincial Administration Office (PPAO) officials led by Chief Administrator Watcharin Pathomwattanapong, took part in the NACC-organized seminar in Bangkok on September 8 – 10.
Officials who took part in the meeting were: Council Chairman – Pradit Saengchan, Head of Tourism and Sports Division – Chutima Chanmee, and Head of Internal Audit – Yongyut Laksakawiboonkul. Phuket PAO is one of only two Administration Offices awarded as model administrative offices – the other being Chacherngsao Provincial Administrative Office.
On a different level, sixteen offices of Subdistrict Administration Offices as well as Municipality Offices were also awarded the same recognition. Award recipients will take part in award ceremony scheduled for November this year.
The seminar, taken part by all awardees, aims to equip staff in the model offices selected in skills and knowledge concerning anti-corruption methodology with modules that include subjects like: planning, thought process, usage of IT and media for presentation, among others. Other activities included lectures on preparing to perform as a model anti-corruption agency, and hands-on practical work on how to become efficient presenters, planning and thought process, public speaking, leadership skills as well as using IT equipment for presentation.
