On November 12th, Niwit Aroonrat, a Vice Governor of Phuket, presided over a meeting about the welcoming ceremony for HRH Princess Sirinthorn on November 23rd 2010. Three related government officers and private sectors in Phuket and Phang Nga attended the meeting.
On November 23rd, the princess would arrive in Phuket at 9.00 a.m. Then she would go to open the elementary school building in SOS orphan children’s village. After that she would plant some trees in the building area, see an exhibition of the school, sign the visiting book, and take photos with the SOS children and staff.
At 10.30 a.m. she would take the helicopter to Phang Nga to open the Baan Don Bosco Bangsak Foster Home. At 3.30 p.m. she would go by helicopter to Rachcaprachanukro 35 School and go further to Tai Muang Hospital to visit the Thai traditional health promotion center. She would fly back to Phuket at 4.30 p.m. and catch the plane back to Bangkok at 5.00 p.m.
