Phuket, Thailand – On Saturday, November 5, 2016, 300 participants including 30 cyclists and support crew from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand attended a charity gala dinner at Thanyapura to present the fundraising amount to Yaowawit School & Vachira Hospital.
The gala dinner is being hosted by Thanyapura and APEX850 after the 7-day endurance cycling starting from Singapore on October 30, 2016 along the West Coast of Malaysia and Thailand and ending at Thanyapura, covering a total of 1500 km. Proceeds raised over THB 340,000 from this event of Apex 850 has been benefitted the special education needs of Yaowawit School.
“Yaowawit school was initially created for the underprivileged children from rural families. After the years, it has become much more than a school; it is a warm home for children that offers academic studies and teaching about life with a boarding house and friendly teachers providing first-class education, which helps the children to become open-minded, confident, caring, and happy human beings”.
