If you are looking for great new way to celebrate this year’s Songkran, don’t miss out on the Phuket Sunset Beach Run, a fun run event for all ages where you will get to enjoy the sea, sand and sunset while exercising on one of the most beautiful spots on the Andaman Sea shore. After the run, join the beach party with a live performance from top rock band, Slot Machine, plus music from popular DJs which will have you dancing into the night.
The Phuket Sunset Beach Run combines the best in sports tourism and live performance and will take place at Bang Tao Beach,, Angsana Laguna Phuket, on 11 April 2021.The event is organized by Tero Entertainment and Laguna Phuket as part of the Revive 555 Festival, an initiative to boost tourism and local business in Phuket over the Songkran Holidays.
Participants can choose to join one of the two race distances: 3 and 6 kilometers, with both race courses being run along the beautiful sands of Bangtao Beach. Each course is limited to 500 participants only. The registration fee for both courses is Baht 550 inc. processing fee). Registrations are open from 9 – 31 March 2021at all ThaiTicketMajor outlets and via the website, www.thaiticketmajor.com. All participants will receive a running shirt, a bag, a bib, and a medallion after completing their run. The top three runners in male and female classes will also receive a trophy and prize money of Bt2,000, 1,500 and 1,000 respectively.

Laguna Phuket Revive 555 Festival is a series of fun events held by Laguna Phuket and the local government and private sector from 31 March – 18 April. Other events in the festival include:

There are two race distance available to runners.
Both races cost Bt550 per person (service fee included) and numbers are strictly limited:
500 participants for the 6-km race
500 participants for the 3-km race
(All runners receive a running shirt, bag, bib number, and commemorative medal at the finish line.)
Age Limit
There are no age or gender restrictions.
Prizes
For male and female categories:
– The first three finishers of each category receive a trophy.
– The first three finishers of each category receive cash prizes (Bt 2,000, Bt1,500, and Bt1,000 respectively).

Rules and Regulations
1. For race winners and runners up, identification is required prior to the prize ceremony.
2. The first three finishers are to report to the committee within 15 minutes of finishing.
3. Once registered, no change of information can allowed.
4. No refunds.
5. Winners are subject 5% tax upon receiving their prize.
