This year, Chef Stefano and his team from Grand Hotel A Villa-Feltrinelli are back with some more fascinating and exciting new dishes at one of Thailand’s most luxurious resorts, Sri panwa.
Chef Stefano, The 2 Michelin star Italian Chef creates his innovative dishes at the acclaimed luxury Villa Feltrinelli hotel on Lake Garda, Italy. He spends as much time in the kitchen as he does in the greenhouse and garden. His notion of a dish includes various types of plants, herbs, wild edible flowers and petals. With real fresh ingredients, chef Stefano wants his audience to truly taste what nature really is, no playing around. Chef Stefano’s interest in culinary ignited after he was initiated into the world of haute cuisine at Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence. He perfected his skills and techniques in the kitchen of two great Master Chefs in Paris. As years passed, chef Stefano gained a vast collection of professional experience by working in various respected venues around the globe with the finest chefs, including Seiji Yamamoto at Ryugin, Joan Roca at El Celler de Can Roca and Ferran Adria at el Bulli.
Renowned for their creativity in the culinary arts, chef Stefano and his team will take their audience’s taste buds on a new and sensational journey, mixing different unusual high quality simple ingredients with his very own personal touch. The team will investigate Thai local markets on Phuket island for the freshest elements in order to make the simplest creative dishes at Sri panwa for two weeks. During the two-week pop-up of Villa Feltrinelli restaurant, the audiences will have the opportunity to wine and dine on the spectacular a la carte menu by chef Stefano and his creative team from the 8th till the 20th of December. The classic soul homemade menu consists of various Italian dishes such as L’astice and Il Tonno for starters, Ravioli, Le Linguine for pasta dishes, Il Branzino and L’agnello for main courses, finishing with Il Tiramisu and Il Limone for desserts. The menu is a simple classic Italian menu but it is served and created with the freshest, finest ingredients and elements with a touch of creativity from chef Stefano and his team.
