August 2018 – With the aim of positioning Krabi as a global art city, the Office of Contemporary Art and Culture (OCAC), Ministry of Culture in Bangkok is hosting the much-anticipated Thailand Biennale art exhibition from 2 November 2018 until 28 February 2019, across various significant sites in the Krabi province.
Themed ‘Edge of the Wonderland,’ the international contemporary art festival will take place outdoors, and unlike other festivals, will feature the works of 60 artists from all over the world at breath-taking locations like the Than Bok Khorani National Park and Hat Noppharat Thara – Mu Koh Phi Phi National Park. There will also be an art competition for young artists, who will submit their entries prior to the exhibition for the opportunity to be featured in the four month long exhibition.
