January 2015, Krabi – Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort is delighted to announce the appointment of its new Executive Chef, Andrea Molinari.
An Italian national, Chef Andrea brings with him more than two decades of experience cooking in top kitchens at 5-star hotels. Prior to joining the renowned Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra Golf & Spa Resort he was Executive Sous Chef at Sofitel Phnom Penh Phokeethra, Cambodia.
Chef Andrea studied Culinary Arts at Collegio de Filippi in Lombardia-Varese, Italy, before embarking on a career that has taken him around the world. Previous appointments have included positions as Executive Sous Chef at Sheraton Hotel Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Executive Chef at Berjaya Hills, Malaysia, and Italian Chef at Kempinski Hotel Dalian in China.
“My vision is to bring the guest’s dining experience to the next level by developing the uniqueness of food, service, and ambience within the hotel’s food and beverage outlets. I’m happy that my skills will be put to use in such a fine dining establishment. I’m excited about the opportunity to meet the customers in Sofitel Krabi Phokeethra and help make their dining experience truly enjoyable.” Chef Andrea says.
