Phuket, Thailand 27 November, 2017: JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa together with Marriott Vacation Club – Phuket Beach, Marriott Vacation Club – Mai Khao Beach, Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa, Phuket Marriott Resort and Spa, Nai Yang Beach and Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach honoured recently a total of 71 associates who have been serving the company for the past 5, 10, 15, 20 and 25 years.
The Annual Marriott Milestone’s Gala Dinner and Long-Serving Awards Ceremony, which was held at Mai Khao Ballroom of JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa, gave recognition to 71 associates who have completed 5, 10, 15, 20 years of service thus far and the man of the night, the role model for our Marriott’ associates, Mr. Trevor Denman May, General Manager of Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa, Merlin Beach who have already put in 25 years of service with the Marriott International.
Mr. Oriol Montal, General Manager of JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa, said: “Every year we recognize our associates who have been with Marriott hotels & resorts for their milestone years at our long service dinner. This year, we made it more memorable night as six of Marriott properties in Phuket hosted this associate’s appreciation event together for the first time ever. I believed that it will get bigger and stronger as we will have even more associates who will reach 5 to 25 years since the successful merger with Starwood. We now have a new way of thinking about our priorities and a mission of “Bridging Culture and Inspiring Discovery Around The World”. We focused on the basics: delivering great experiences for our guests and taking care of each other”.
