PHUKET – The highly anticipated “Children’s Business Fair” concluded with resounding success and an overwhelming response from the public. Held on July 5, 2026, at the Dragon Plaza (Hai Leng Ong) in the heart of Phuket Old Town, the event was filled with vibrant energy, smiles, and the incredible creative potential of Phuket’s talented youth.
Under the inspiring concept “Imagine • Create • Sell • Succeed” the fair provided a one-day platform for children and teenagers aged 6 to 16 to step into the shoes of real entrepreneurs. The young participants fully utilized their creativity and strategic thinking to manage their own businesses from scratch. This included everything from product planning, calculating costs, and marketing, to hands-on selling and interacting with customers. The unique products and services displayed at the booths caught the attention of both Phuket residents and tourists passing by.
According to the organizers, this event was designed to be more than just a fun day for children to earn extra income. More importantly, it served as a practical, real-world experience outside the classroom—building essential life skills and boosting self-confidence to help pave the way for these kids to become future entrepreneurs. It also offered a wonderful space for them to practice teamwork and forge new friendships.
The tremendous success of this year’s “Children’s Business Fair” marks another significant milestone in fostering the potential of local youth in Phuket.
