PHUKET, THAILAND – Amatara Wellness Resort has recently won four international hospitality awards for its continually delivered a quality customer experience and its best Luxury Spa in the Region.
In June 2017, Amatara Wellness Resort announced the receiving of a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence for the fourth consecutive year. The recipients include accommodations, restaurants and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience.
The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recently of reviews submitted by travellers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble ratings of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
In early July 2017, the resort’s fine dining establishment, The Grill Restaurant had been honored with the prestigious Wine Spectator ‘Award of Excellence’. These awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers. The awards are given across three categories: Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence and Grand Award honoring 3,592 restaurants, more than 75 countries.
Later in July 2017, Amatara A Destination Spa won the Regional winner awards for: Best Luxury Destination Spa and Best Luxury Wellness Spa 2017 following the vote by a large number of travel and tourism professionals worldwide.
The World Luxury Spa Awards is widely known as part of the World Luxury Hotel Awards, one of the most prestigious and comprehensive awards in the tourism industry which serves to acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all sectors of the global travel and tourism industry.
