Phuket, 3 February 2020 – Valentine’s Day is just around the corner! This is a perfect day to treat a special someone to a romantic day to remember. At La Gritta Restaurant, Chef Patrizia from Rome has crafted a delectable four-course Valentine’s Day menu for an impressive dinner.
La Gritta also offers romantic surroundings, with a picturesque view of the Andaman Sea and Patong town at night, in the comfort of a cooling sea breeze. Guests will have an intimate dining experience starting with an amuse bouche, a mini bite of tuna tartare with caviar, passion fruit and red seaweed (Battuta di Tonno), followed by a dish of wild rice with poached tiger prawns, Jerusalem artichokes, fried ginger and bottarga shaves (Mazzancolle al Riso Selvatico), and home-made pasta filled with burrata, truffle, pata negra with mascarpone sauce and red berries (Bombolotti di Burrata al Tartufo, in Salsa di Patanegra e Mascarpone). For the main course, choose from Wagyu beef tenderloin with Port wine and foie gras sauce, purple potato gnocchi with porcini sauce (Filetto di Manzo Wagyu al Porto e Foiegras), or Grilled snow fish with brandy sauce, mild Sicilian cauliflower with raisin and crispy almond shaves, and wakame tempura (Snow Fish alla Griglia). A sweet ending is a white chocolate dome on dark chocolate mousse cake, raspberry jelly, pistachio served with warm chocolate sauce (Cupola di Cioccolata).
The Valentine’s Day dinner is available on 14 February 2020 from 19:00 to 24:00. The price for the romantic set menu is 4,800 THB++ per couple (excluding beverages).
