Rasada Big Cleaning Day is scheduled on Feb 20th

Rasada Vice Mayor revealed garbage volume from Rasada area has increased 50-60 tons a day. Trucks used for garbage collecting nowadays are from private and government sector which part of it are of Rasada Municipality itself.

Phuket City Municiaplity who will continue taking the garbage to dispose calls for THB 500 fee per ton. Causing them to pay baht 800,000 each month in average, Rasada Municipality therefore asks private sector to responsible for THB 30 fee per month or THB 360 fee per year.

The increasing population of Rasada means more garbage are to produce and that mess the area up. Rasada Municipality hence set up a Big Cleaning Day for people to join and help keep Rasada clean on coming February 20th beginning at Fish Marketing Organization, Moo7 before moving to other villages.
