Jungceylon Patong Hosts “JUNGCEYLON ART FOR OCEANS”

Phuket – Jungceylon Shopping Center in Patong, Phuket, is hosting a special event to celebrate World Environment Day (June 5) and World Ocean Day (June 8). The public and tourists are invited to visit the “JUNGCEYLON ART FOR OCEANS” exhibition featuring creative artworks made from recycled waste.

The highlight of the exhibition is a collection of sea animal sculptures created from discarded materials, representing the impact of marine debris on rare and endangered marine life. Featured creatures include dugongs, sea turtles, giant octopuses, starfish, whales, and coral reefs. Informational boards accompany the artworks to raise awareness of plastic pollution and the importance of marine conservation.

Local Phuket artists will also join the event to share their perspectives and showcase eco-friendly recycled art pieces, with unique souvenirs available for purchase.

The exhibition is open to the public from June 5–8, 2025, at The Bay Arena, Jungceylon Shopping Center, Patong, Phuket.
