Renaissance Phuket unveils new dining initiativesOn Friday 21st November 2014, Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa held an event entitled “Discover the New R-Dining” which saw the official unveiling of three new dining initiatives by the resort, the re-launch of Takieng Restaurant, their new R Beach Club, and the Loca Vore’s Kid Campaign.

Renaissance Phuket unveils new dining initiativesThe re-launching of the resort’s signature Thai restaurant Takieng restaurant saw the introduction of Takieng’s new Thai Chef, Chef Apisorn Renusak who hails from Bangkok, the new restaurant set-up including the terrace with Thai seats for a relaxing Thai-style atmosphere, the air-conditioned restaurant’s new improved layout with Thai lanterns, and the balcony which overlooks the beach, grass lawn, and pool, with an ocean breeze & sunset.

Activities at the re-launch included 4 live cooking stations which featured new menu items, live Thai flute & Thai background music, a speech from resort GM Goetz Bauer and Thai wines from Siam Winery.

Launching R Beach Club

Renaissance Phuket unveils new dining initiativesThe new ‘R Beach Club’, the only one on Mai Khao Beach, is a new hip and cool place to chill or party after dinner at the sand area by the beach lawn. Targeting guests aged between 28-40 years old, R Beach Club’s setting on the Sand area adjacent to Sand Box restaurant features sun loungers and bean bags and a relaxing, yet hip and cool atmosphere where guest can chill-out after dinner with music provided by their resident DJ X. Sand Box is seen as the place for dinner and then guests can carry on to R Beach Club which is seen to be the ‘happening’ place after dinner.

Loca Vore’s Kid Campaign
As part of the Marriott Rewards pilot project ‘Kids Get More’ campaign, Renaissance Phuket resort & Spa gas been selected as the pilot resort to offer a new kid’s menu separating the younger and older kids between 2-13 years old featuring different items that will accommodate their dining experience.

Al the kids have to do is fill out the sign-up form to receive mini benefits including

• 3 scoops of ice cream at any of their restaurants
• Special free activity at their Kid’s World
• “Kid Eats Free” daily one item from ‘kids menu’ when parent orders main course dinner at Loca Vore
