Regent Phuket Cape Panwa recently hosted a dinner for The Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Bailliage Phuket after a hosting a successful event last year. The dinner presented delights conjured up by the resort’s Chef Justin with food rarely served on Phuket – game, with wines ably selected by the Regent’s General Manager, who is also Charge de Mission, Brice Borin.
Executive Chef Justin, with great support from Mr. Borin, created a very rare dinner for Phuket with dishes that are more commonly found in Europe. Guests were amazed with Chef Justin’s creations which included starters such as Wild Boar, and also the wine, which included a 2007 Grand Cru Burgundy. The feedback from the guests was that the food was exceptional.
Wild rabbit, Smoked trout, Wood pigeon, Free range Cervena – a true gourmet’s delight, are certainly not run of the mill dishes found on Phuket Island.
