Khun Weerasit said “We are visiting these outlets to check on their meat conters space and temparatre controls as fresh food must be stored in a standardized, constant temperature. On this occasion we have had to talk with business owners to provide them with udates on quality control, which is essential to ensure all customers can remain confident in buying their products. These checks are not something we are rquired to do on a regular basis, but from now on we will be carrying out random checks. If we find that outlets are not operating in accordance with the criteria given, we will have to enforce the law as the businesses are not looking out for the safety of consumers. Whether its tourists or locals who are making purchases from these businesses it is essential that their health is a priority.”
