Able Wanamakok is an experienced international television host, news presenter and entrepreneur. Her talent in broadcast media and public relations/marketing led her to start her own business in 2011, the 1st company in Phuket to specialize in social media marketing. She is currently News Presenter for the program Andaman News, which airs live every Friday from NBT Network in Thailand.
Able’s natural ability to connect with the camera opened doors to a successful hosting career and she airs frequently on international network like Fashion One. She has also starred in travel shows such as Window on Thailand and has hosted international events such as World Luxury Hotel Awards and International Pole Championship in Hong Kong.
As an excellent public speaker and business developer, Able naturally lead the pack by holding training and workshops on how to succeed in marketing using social media. Some of her clients include luxury hotel brands like Zeavola, Dusit Thani Laguna and fashion brands such as Katalina Collection.
Able’s charming and active personality continues to draw her to new challenges in films and production. During her free time, her compassionate nature led her to be involved in humanitarian activities where she acts as an active member of the Rotary Club of Patong Beach since late 2005.
Able is fluent in Cantonese (Chinese), English and conversational Thai.
I’ll look forward to seeing you at our August meeting. As the pressures of the world economy and Phuket’s economy have an ever greater impact on most foreigners living here we can look to the knowledgeable insights of Able for possible new ways to look at promoting our businesses.
As you may, or may not be aware, we have been processing our application to register IBAP as an official association over the last 6 months or more. This process is now at its final stages and we are only waiting for a few more board member interviews and signatures before the final official signatures approving the application. We should have an update on the latest steps achieved.
I hope each of you is finding the way to get through the daily challenges, and watching out for your friends and neighbors that could use a little support. Like many, I do believe things are getting better.
