Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket’s award-winning Italian restaurant La Trattoria has been named one of Thailand’s Best Restaurants of 2014. The restaurant has won this award six out of nine times in the list published by Thailand Tatler magazine in conjunction with MasterCard.
La Trattoria Restaurant was chosen by the editors of Thailand Tatler, based on suggestions from readers. The restaurant was visited by food writers who only identified themselves at the end of the meal to ensure they did not receive preferential treatment. The result of this is a user-friendly guide with a comprehensive, objective description of each establishment, plus ratings for setting, food, wine and service.

La Trattoria has become the Laguna Phuket complex’s best Italian fine dining venue. Overseen by Italian native Silvano Amolini, he drives the kitchen team as Executive Chef, along with with Chef De Cuisine Lorenzo Stelzer, Executive Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage, Benjamin Perera and the restaurant team.
Chef Amolini’s signature dishes are US Scallop Carpaccio with Beet Root and Zucchini, Passion fruit vinaigrette, homemade pici pasta with braised beef in Chianti red wine and Grilled sirloin steak with rocket salad, parmesan cheese and Sabina DOP olive oil.
