Hilton Phuket Arcadia Appoints New General Manager

Hilton Phuket Arcadia Appoints New General ManagerHilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa today announced the appointment of David Prince as General Manager. With a career at Hilton Worldwide that spans 20 years, Prince brings to Phuket’s largest resort a wealth of international hotel management experiences.

A graduate in hotel management from Bournemouth University in the United Kingdom, David began his career working across most departments within a hotel including Food &Beverage, Finance and Front Office. Prior to this appointment, David was the General Manager of Hilton Beijing Capital Airport, where he managed the opening of the hotel and successfully operated the hotel for four years. He has also held several General Manager roles at other Hilton Worldwide properties across the United Kingdom, India, Malaysia and China.

On his move to Phuket , David Prince said, “My family and I love to explore many countries around the world and in fact, have never stayed anywhere more than once with only one exception– namely, Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa – which, we have stayed three times in the past. It is therefore with great pleasure that I now find myself in charge of this fantastic resort that I have had great pleasure of visiting as a guest. I very much look forward to working with the team to take this resort to greater heights.”

As general manager, Prince will assume the responsibility of managing Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa, also known as one of the most comprehensive MICE and events venues in Southeast Asia. Set on a 75-acreland along Phuket’s Karon Beach, the hotel features 665 guest rooms and suites as well as 16 versatile meetings and events spaces including the 850-square meter Grand Ballroom, probably one of the largest function rooms in Phuket.
