Dusit Thani Laguna Phuket is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr A.L. Claude Benjamin Perera as Executive Assistant Manager – Food & Beverage Division, effective 1st March 2014. Mr Perera previously held the position of Director of Food & Beverage at the Hyatt Regency in Hua Hin, Thailand.
Mr Perera, a Malaysian national, possesses over 25 years experience in the hospitality industry and has worked with Hyatt Hotels across the world in the role of Director of Food & Beverage in such places as Indonesia, Singapore , Russia and Thailand.
In his new role, Mr Perera will oversee the functioning of the resort ‘s 6 superb dining outlets, including: the award-winning Italian restaurant La Trattoria; Ruen Thai which serves Royal Thai cuisine; the beachfront Casuarina Beach Restaurant and Pub, the all-day dining venue Laguna Café; the Poolside Café and Horizon Lounge.
