Montri Hongyok, the Managing Director of Anuphas Vividhakarn Co. Ltd., Phuket, revealed, after the company’s new Honda showroom on Phang Nga Rd. was opened, that the company spent about 50 million baht to renovate this showroom. It took around 2 years and the showroom would be officially opened on July 3rd 2010.
The showroom offers after-sales and maintenance services to Honda customers with service capacity of 40 cars a day. It mainly serves booked cars with fast maintenance programs. The customers who preferred a full maintenance service could go to check up their car at the main showroom on Chao Fah Road which was more comprehensive with more mechanics, equipment, and maintenance areas.
Montri added that Honda cars were popular among Phuket residents. The average sales of Honda in Phuket were 180 cars per month. Meanwhile customers had to wait 3 months for any orders of a Honda Jazz, Honda CRV and Honda City, as Honda Motors Thailand had slowed down its production due to the flat market.
