Rock guitar, Les Paul, dies at 94

Les Paul, the pioneer guitarist and inventor of electric guitars has died from complications of pneumonia in New York at the age of 94.

Les Paul is recognized with developing one of the first solid-body electric guitars, multi-track recording, overdubbing, and contributed to the birth of rock.

He’s also credited with inventing the eight-track tape recorder and guitar hero who set a standard for musicianship.

Guns N’ Roses star Slash described him as an exceptionally brilliant man.

Rest in peace Les Paul.
