Video & photos – Weekend Market worth making a stroll around

Weekend Market Weekend Market Weekend Market The weekend market or “Talad Naka” in Thai, near Wat Naka in west Phuket City, just off Chao Fa West Road, is so popular now with not only Thai but also foreign residents and tourists, it is difficult to find a space to park if you go in the early evening, but worth the effort to explore the growing myriad of stalls selling new and second hand products, handicrafts, trendy clothes, replicas, plus many tasty food and beverages, including some unusual snacks like fried insects! ( We don’t however recommend buying the illegal copies of CDs and VCDs etc, nor the pets or animals in small cages)

By the way most of the stalls are open about 3-4pm, but it’s best to go there about 5pm an hour before the sun sets, when it is cooler and still has space to park! Or take a taxi!
