The Tourism Authority of Thailand, Phuket City Municipality, Phuket Old Town Foundation, and Phuket Old Town Community, are cooperatively arranging the Phuket Street Show Festival 2010 on December 17th-19th. This will be the first time this kind of event will be held in Phuket, in the area of Thalang Road from Queen Sirikit Park to Thai Hua Museum on 6 stages. The event runs from 5.00 – 11 p.m. and should be very interactive with the audiences.
There will be street performances from Thailand and other countries acting in the event. The highlight performances are an acrobatics show by Bencha Theater from Holland, comedy juggling show of Le Tennis from France and The Sphircle’s marble show from Holland.
Apart from these, there will be shows from Thailand including Baby Mime, a famous mime act that will surely make people at the event laugh out loud. It should ensure not only a fun atmosphere in Phuket, but the event should also assure tourists that Phuket and Thailand is still a safe place to spend their vacation.
