Phuket prepares to install spotting scopes on Promthep Cape

4 November 2009 – Rawai Mayor Aroon Solos revealed that Rawai Municipality has a plan to develop Promthep Cape to be a sustainable tourist attraction. Besides, golf car provision project for disable and senior to easy access the place, the municipality set some budget to install 4-5 spotting scopes for people to enjoy perspectives through the lens.

The scopes will enhance coastal surveillance and improve the effectiveness of the rescue when the ship accidents happen in the sea.
