Phuket to celebrate 73 years of Phuket Vocational College

On September 10th 2012 at Phuket Vocational College (Witayalai Archiwa Suksa Phuket), Mr.Soontorn Polrong – Phuket Vocational College’s Director announced celebrations for the 73rd anniversary of the college.

Phuket Vocational College originally opened in 1940 and was known as Tailor Phuket School and was located at Wat Mongkol Nimit. It has also been known as Phuket Women Tailor School, Phuket Vocational School, until finally becoming Phuket Vocational College. It is now rated as the South’s 2nd best vocational institution.

To celebrate the anniversary of one of Phuket’s oldest schools, The Phuket College Alumni Association, Parents & Teachers Association and Mr.Wisit Jaiart – Advisor to Minister Mr.Worawaj Eerapinyakul have organized a Tod Pa Par School Donation on 5th & 6th October, mini-marathon on 11th November, and an assembly activity of “Gen Ar” (Archiwa Suksa) on 15th December 2012.
