On June 28th 2010, at the Butterfly’s Wing conference room in the Faculty of Education, Phuket Rajabhat University (PKRU), 100 of their students attended some training called “Easy Note Taking by Mind Map” held by the university. The training was conducted by Tanya Phonanan, an expert in brain development by ‘Mind Map’, with the intention to enhance students’ learning ability.
Manop Chaichiyo, the Dean of Faculty of Education, said that ‘Mind Map’ was useful in learning activity. Moreover, it could be used in thought order as well as other activities in lives. As the brain was the most special organ in humans, ‘Mind Map’ was a good way to enhance the capability of the brain by balancing activities that happen in the left and right hand side of the brain when humans learn.
