On Sunday 22nd December 2013 at Surakul Stadium, PPAO Chief Executive – Paiboon Upattising presided over the opening of the third “Anubal Games” (Kindergarten Games) of the year 2013. The Chief Executive was joined by his Advisor Boonserm Suwannarathphoom, PPAO Chief Administrator – Watcharin Pathomwong, PPAO Council Members – Prasit Sinsaowapark and Boon-um Uerjittrakul, PPAO division heads, PPAO staff, games committee, schools’ executives, teachers, students, sportspersons, and parents.
In an opening speech, Mr. Watcharin said: “The aim of this sports event is to encourage children from kindergarten level to develop the love of sports and experience team spirit. These family-oriented activities are divided into 60 meter and 80 meter sprints, 5 x 80 meter and 4 x 25 meter relay, long jump and ball throwing for aged 5 and 6 groups both boys and girls. There are also parades and cheerleading teams. This event is being participated by 21 schools amounting to 2,600 participants.”
Mr. Paiboon addressed the crowd: “I am honored to preside over this opening of these games and I really enjoyed seeing the beautiful parades bringing young sportspersons into the stadium. Thank you all who helped organize this event, not least the parents who show their admiration for their offspring. The young students must remember today and the love given to you by your parents. And that’s why when you grow up, you must look after them the way they have taken care of you. Gratitude is the most important human quality so please develop this. I thank and bless all concerned including sportspersons, committee, parents, and students who have made this event such a big success.”
