Phuketindex went to film the P.I.S.T. final check in as boats returned at Chalong Bay Pier and weighing of fish at the Tamarind Bar & Grill in Chalong, on Saturday 20 November 2010, and had a short chat with a Finnish team; longer interview with Walter, one of the organisers; and chat with Warren on an Australian team who showed us their video of a sailfish they caught & released.
The contest, among 14 Teams with Anglers from 14 different countries, took place over 4 days from 17-20 November, with a 3 day team fishing event with top team honors going to the team that tallied the most points (per kilo) during the Tournament. It also awarded prizes to the team that caught the largest fish (by weight) in each eligible species.
